- So, I have installed eMoviX-0.9.0pre1, what do I need to do next???
-
- 0 - Read The README file. :-)
-
- 1 - Add Files:
-
- add audio and/or video files to "C:\PROGRAM FILES\eMOVIX-LINUX MULTIMEDIA CD\MOVIX\SRC"
- or where you decided to install it.
-
- NEW IN THIS VERSION: You can drag and drop files to the new MovixIsoCreator app.
-
- 2 - If you want to be able to play your DVDs, you probably need to include the
- libdvdcss library. ( Please see the README for more info on this. )
-
- DISCLAIMER: the libdvdcss library makes use of the DeCSS algorithm, that
- has been declared *illegal* in some country (e.g. USA and Germany), so
- before adding it gest you to make sure it is ok to use it in your country.
- I am in no way responsible of what you put in your MoviX version.
-
- Because of the extremely unclear status of the legal matters about DeCSS I
- can't even provide a link for those who legitimally can make use of it, but
- nevertheless all you should do is going in your favorite search engine,
- look for the package named libdvdcss-1.2.6-1.i386.rpm and copy that package
- in the "C:\PROGRAM FILES\eMOVIX-LINUX MULTIMEDIA CD\MOVIX\SRC\MOVIX" dir.
-
- 3 - Make the ISO file:
-
- just click the Movix ISO Creator icon in the desktop.
-
- 4 - Burn The CD and Enjoy! ;-)
-
- using Nero
-
- 1. start Nero :-)
- 2. close the wizard ;
- 3. select make a cd from image from menu;
- 4. select the ISO image ==>> c:\temp\movix.iso;
- 5. click OK;
- 6. burn the CD!
-
- using Easy Cd creator
-
- almost the same way...
-
- but if you have any doubt see http://www.cs.umd.edu/faq/pc/cdrfaq.html
-
- PLEASE READ THE README ( "C:\PROGRAM FILES\eMOVIX-LINUX MULTIMEDIA CD\MOVIX\SRC" ) FILE FOR MORE OPTIONS...
