Check the software that came with your CD Recorder, it may have included software that allows your recorder to simulate a floppy dirve. BackupOnDemand can store archives to CD-R/CR-RW media using this software.
You can adjust the amount of time from the time a file is changed to the time it is archived for Profiles in Realtime mode from the Tools | Options menu item.
Trying to use Realtime mode to backup large files that change frequently can cause system performance problems, use Periodic mode instead.
The BackupOnDemand Archive Explorer allows you to easily restore old files as well as restoring the lastest version each file in the archive.
The Restore option of BackupOnDemand Explorer allows you to quickly restore the latest version of a series of files to any directory of your choosing.
