<p>What are you having trouble with?</p>
<extend>
<tease>I have an asset account for my vehicle, but I don't see it in the Car view of the Home page.</tease>
<reveal>
<p>If you've converted from Quicken or upgraded from an earlier version of Money, you may need to tell the Car view of the Home page that an asset account for your car exists. <alink type="prcdr" href="Addavehicletoordeleteavehiclefromthecarcenter.xml"/></p>
</reveal>
</extend>
<extend>
<tease>I don't see some of my vehicle-related expenses.</tease>
<reveal>
<p>Money tracks your vehicle-related expenses based on the categories you assign to expenses in the Accounts & Bills area. If you don't see an expense, make sure that you've given it a vehicle-related category and subcategory. Use the <emph>Find and Replace</emph> command on the <emph>Tools</emph> menu to locate your expense in the account register. With an advanced search, you can also add or change the category for a recurring expense, such as gasoline. <alink type="prcdr" href="Changeinformationinagroupoftransactions.xml"/></p>
<p>If you've created custom categories, you can tell Money to track them as vehicle-related expenses.</p>
<ol>
<li>On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Categories & Payees</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the category you want to change, and then click <emph>Go to Category</emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>Category Group</emph> box, click <emph>Automobile Expenses</emph>.</li>
</ol>

<extend>
<tease>I don't see a link on the Car view of the Home page although it's mentioned in another Help topic.</tease>
<reveal>
<p>You may have customized this Home page view.</p>
<ol>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Customize this page</emph>.</li>
<li>In the <emph>View</emph> box of the customization dialog, click <emph>Car</emph>.</li>
<li>Click <emph>Restore Default</emph>, and then click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
</ol>
<p>You should now be able to see the appropriate link.</p>
