If you have an account in another Money file or another personal finance file, you may want to add it to your working Money file so you can handle it more conveniently. To move the account, open the file and export the account. Then, open the destination file and import the account into it.

Because this feature is primarily designed to convert Quicken files, Money may detect other accounts that you did not export and ask you to assign them to an account in your new file. If so, simply assign each account to the same account you assigned the exported data. Because you only exported one account, only that account's transactions will appear in the new file.

Do not click <emph>Stop Import</emph> until you have assigned all of the files that Money detects. Otherwise, not all of the transactions will be imported into your new file. Money will verify that the import is complete after a few moments.

You may want to delete the account from the original file.
