<p>You may be able to claim miscellaneous deductions such as unreimbursed employee expenses, tax preparation fees, amounts you paid to produce or collect taxable income, and money spent to manage or protect property held for earning income. Your total miscellaneous deductions are generally reduced by 2% of your <glossary>adjusted gross income</glossary> and added to your other itemized deductions.
