In general, Money interprets two-digit years within a 100-year range that starts 33 years before the current year and ends 66 years after the current year.

For example, in 2003, the range is 1/1/1970 through 1/1/2069. Money interprets the date 4/7/70 as 4/7/1970, but interprets 4/7/68 as 4/7/2068. In the year 2004, the range is 1/1/1971 through 1/1/2070.

In the Lifetime Planner, however, some of the dates are automatically programmed for future events. In these cases, Money would interpret 4/7/68 as 4/7/2068 in both 2003 and 2004.

You can always enter a four-digit number to be sure the dates are interpreted correctly.
