<li>On the <emph>Investing</emph> menu, click <emph>Portfolio</emph>.</li>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Record a special activity</emph>, and then click <emph>Record a Split</emph>.</li>
<li>Select the investment name and date of the split.</li>
<li>Under <emph>Split the shares</emph>, enter the ratio for the split, and then click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
</ol>
<p>For example, if you have a 2 for 1 stock split and own 100 shares at $50/share, after the split you'll own 200 shares at $25/share.</p>
<p>Money doesn't enter a transaction for the split. Instead, it adjusts the price and quantity in each transaction for the stock and displays an <emph>S</emph> (for split) next to the purchase price in the investment account transactions.</p>
