<p variant="impt">If there are transactions in the cash portion of an investment account, it's best not to delete them because you won't be able to track cash flow for your investment transactions. Delete this register only if you do not have transactions in it.</p>
<ol>
<li>On the <emph>Investing</emph> menu, click <emph>Portfolio</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the investment account with the associated cash account.</li>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Change account details</emph>.</li>
<li>Clear the <emph>Allow cash transactions </emph>check box, and then click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
<li>Click <emph>Yes</emph> to confirm that you want to stop tracking cash contributions in this account.</li>
<li>At the bottom of the page, click <emph>Done</emph>.</li>
</ol>
<p variant="note">After you delete cash transactions from your investment account, the <emph>Account</emph> field for all transfers to or from the Cash Transactions register is blank.</p>
