<p>The cost of leasing a vehicle for business purposes is deductible. However, if you lease a car that you use in your business for 30 days or more and the lease payments are above certain limits, you may be subject to an inclusion amount. The inclusion amount is added back to your income after you deduct the lease payments, and effectively reduces your deduction. It is prorated for the number of days of the lease term in the tax year. For the table of inclusion amounts and instructions for calculating your inclusion amount, see IRS Publication 463, Travel, Entertainment, Gift, and Car Expenses, on the <alink type="xtnl" href="http://www.irs.gov">IRS Web site</alink>.</p>
