<p variant="note">You must set up an account for online bill payment before you can send an Epay. </p>
<li>On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Account List</emph>.</li>
<li>Click the account in which you want to create an <glossary>Epay</glossary>.</li>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Make an electronic payment or transfer</emph>, and then click <emph>Make an electronic payment</emph>.</li>
<li>Enter the payment information.</li>
<p>Required fields are marked with an asterisk. If you do not have an account number with this payee (for example, if you're sending money to a friend), type your name in the <emph>Account number</emph> box.</p>
<li>To send the payment immediately, click <emph>Submit Payment</emph>. You must be connected to the Internet to send payments immediately. To save the payment to send later, click <emph>Save Draft</emph>.</li>

<p>If your <glossary>financial institution</glossary> can't process and deliver your payment by the date you entered, Money will ask if you want to accept a later date.</p>

<p>If you cannot connect to the Internet or there is an error in the payment, the payment will remain in the register, but will not be marked as an Epay. When you can, connect to the Internet or fix the error, click <emph>Epay</emph> in the <emph>Number</emph> box, and resubmit the payment.</p>

<p>After your call is completed, you will see a call summary that contains information about the payments made during that call. To print this information, right-click and then click <emph>Print</emph>.</p>
<p>If you submit an electronic payment from your register, you can read information sent in response from your financial institution under the exclamation mark column in the register. To read more information about the call, in the lower left corner of your screen, click <emph>Internet Updates</emph>, and then click <emph>Read Call Summary Messages</emph>. This call summary is saved until another call is made (calls include background banking calls).</p>
