<p>Background Banking requires the following conditions:</p>
<ol>
<li>You must be signed in with a Microsoft Passport. </li>
<p>If you restart your computer, you must sign in again with Passport to either Money or Money Express before background banking will work.</p>
<li>You must allow the files mis.exe and mnyschdl.exe to run in the background on your computer.</li>
<li>You must save your financial institution PIN in Money. </li>
<p>You can do this when you set up your account in Money. To save your PIN for an existing account, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>On the <emph>File</emph> menu, click <emph>Password Manager</emph></li>
<li>On the <emph>Financial Institution Settings</emph> tab, select the check box next to your financial institution, and then type your password or PIN.</li>
<li>Click <emph>OK</emph>.</li>
</ol>
</ol>
<p variant="note">Only banks that use a password or PIN can be used with Background Banking.</p>
