<p>You can individually assign each budgeted amount to an account for your projected cash flow, or you can have Money use the account you used last time or most frequently for each transaction.<frgmnt sku="biz">Because your budget only includes personal items, this will not affect your business cash flow.</frgmnt></p>
<li>In the left pane, click <emph>Customize cash flow</emph>.</li>
<li>Select the method you want Money to use to determine which account a budgeted item should be associated with:</li>
<ul>
<li><emph>The last account used for each category.</emph> If you use a different account for a category, Money assumes you are now using that account for all future instances of that category.</li>
<li><emph>The account used most often for each category.</emph> If you usually use one account for a category, Money associates the category with that account.</li>
<li><emph>The account I select for each category.</emph> You can tell Money which account you want to use for each budget category.</li>
</ul>
<li>Click <emph>Done</emph>.</li>
<li>If you selected <emph>The account I select for each category</emph>, you can now assign each category to one or two accounts.</li>

<li> On the <emph>Accounts & Bills</emph> menu, click <emph>Categories & Payees</emph>.</li>
<li>Double-click a category to open it.</li>
<ul>
<li>To assign the category to a single account, select <emph>A single account</emph>, and select an account from the list.</li>
<li>To assign the category to two accounts, select <emph>Two accounts</emph>, and then select two accounts and the percentages of this category you want to assign to them.</li>

<p variant="note">You can also assign a budget item to one or two accounts in the cash flow transaction list. Right-click the item, click <emph>Assign Cash Flow to Account</emph>, and then follow the instructions on your screen</p>
