  27.    Netscape Navigator Gold 3.01 is being distributed as a 32-bit and
  28.    16-bit windows program. 
  29.  
  30.    To run the 32-bit Navigator, you MUST have a 32-bit TCP/IP stack.
  31.    Both Windows 95 and Windows NT provide 32-bit TCP/IP stacks 
  32.    that you can setup.

  34.    To obtain a copy of Netscape Navigator Gold, first download the 
  35.    self-extracting executable file into a temporary directory.

  40.         32-bit : g32301p.exe    (with CoolTalk and Live3D)

  46. * For Win95 users, if you are using any versions prior to this
  47.   release, you will get multiple uninstall entries in your
  48.   Add/Remove program.  If you prefer not having multiple 
  49.   entries, you should do an uninstall to remove your previous 
  50.   version of Netscape Navigator Gold before you install the new release.

  59.         Running Netscape

  61. What do I need to run Netscape Navigator Gold?
  62.  
  63. You must have a direct Internet connection before you can use Netscape.
  64. The ability to send and receive e-mail does not necessarily mean you
  65. can run Netscape. There are three requirements for Netscape Navigator Gold:
  66.     1. A direct Ethernet connection to the net, or a dialup
  67.        SLIP or PPP account from an Internet service provider.
  68.     2. TCP/IP stack
  69.     3. Netscape Navigator Gold software
  70.  
  71. You can get a direct connection to the Internet through a service
  72. provider in your area.  You will need to get a SLIP or a PPP account
  73. from an Internet provider (for a dialup account).

  75. When you have full Internet connectivity, you need to have a TCP/IP
  76. stack, dialer, and WINSOCK.DLL file.

  79. If you get the error message "Cannot find WINSOCK.DLL" when running
  80. Netscape Navigator Gold, this means your computer is looking for the
  81. WINSOCK.DLL file that is part of a winsock package.
