- WINMORPH PRESS RELEASE
- ----------------------
-
-
- WinMorph is a morphing program for Windows.
-
- Version 1.63 is now finished and is available from Phoenix.oulu.fi.
- If you have seen earlier versions of WinMorph forget them. They were
- full of bugs and painfully slow compared to the shiny new version 1.65.
-
-
- Something about the speed:
- ----------------------------
- One 320x200 frame takes about 8 secs to morph with my 386/33. RMorf for DOS
- takes about 7.2 secs so WinMorph is still a little slower. Maybe it's so
- because WinMorph has to run Windows at the same time. Fifteen frames takes
- about two minutes while with version 0.9 it took 15 minutes.
-
-
- Bugs:
- ------
- Earlier versions of WinMorph had a couple of serious bugs.(Alright, there
- were more than a couple.) Most of them are now terminated. I'm saying
- most of them because you never can't be sure. However, the program seems
- robust to me.
-
-
- Future plannings:(In order of importance)
- - Ability to load animations as source files
- - Port to Win32s
- - Triangulation algorithm
- - Better viewing of truecolor pictures on 256-color devices.
- - Better interpolation with keyframes
-
- WinMorph is Shareware. Registration fee is 150 FIM or 30 US$.
- The registration includes all future versions of WinMorph.
