  5. DESCRIPTION
  6. -----------
  7.     The Registry Editor Extensions "extend" the Registry Editor
  8. included with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.  A combo box is inserted
  9. into the Registry Editor which remembers the keys you have edited,
  10. and allows you to navigate back to them quickly.  Once you've tried
  11. it, you won't want to edit the registry any other way.

  27. GET STARTED
  28. -----------
  29.     Run the Setup.exe program to install.  Then double-click on RegEdit
  30. Extensions.  See the help file for complete info.
  31.  
  32.     A small number of users have experienced the Setup message
  33. "Unable to start DDE communications with Program Manager."  At this
  34. point, Setup has finished except for creating shortcuts.  To create
  35. them yourself in Explorer, open the folder where you told Setup to
  36. copy the RegEditX files (default C:\RegeditX).  Create the shortcuts
  37. to RegEditX.exe and RegEditX.hlp by dragging their icons to the 
  38. destination folder or desktop.
