  1. WINIMANT.EXE is designed for Windows NT 3.5x, Windows 95 or Win3.1x+Win32s
  2. WINIMAGE.EXE is designed for Windows 3.1

  4. 1.68 Mb and DMF are 3"1/2 HD floppy formatted with 21 sector/tracks.

  7. WINIMANT.EXE can now read/write/format 1.68 and DMF floppy under all Windows
  8. platform. See help file for more info.

  10. I support WINIMANT.EXE now only in released version of Windows 95.

  12. HLR20A16.EXE (in somes old beta of WinImage don't exist now).

  14. WIM16T95.DLL and WIM32T95.dll are used by WINIMANT.EXE under Windows 95.
  15. WIM1632S.DLL is used by WINIMANT.EXE under Windows 3.1 + Win32s.

  17. For DMF, select Option Preference, and Uncheck "Use only standard format"

  19. Note : 820 Kb and 1.72 Mb can be read/write/format only under DOS+Win 3.1x
  20. 1.68 Mb, DMF on 3"1/2 HD and 1.44 Mb on 5"1/4 HD can be read/write/format
  21. with both WinImaNT.EXE under WinNT 3.5 and WinImage.exe under Win 3.1x.
  22. Note : only version 3.5 and up of Windows NT support DMF.

  24. Win32s is a freely redistributable software from Microsoft, for running
  25. Win32 application under Windows 3.1. It's in several download location.
  26. If you don't have it, find PW1118.EXE in Microsoft Sostware Library

  31. Command line option prototype in 2.20 :
  32. 'WINIMANT [source [destination] [options]]'
  33. 'WINIMANT file.ima' : Load the file file.ima
  34. 'WINIMANT file.ima A:' : Load the file file.ima, write on A: and exit
  35. 'WINIMANT A: file.ima' : Load from floppy A: and save file.ima
  36. Option :
  37. /F : Format when write a floppy in command line operation
  38. /E : Do Extract (second parameter can be destination)
  39. /X : Do Extract with sub-dir (second parameter can be destination)
  40. /Q : Always exit after command line operation
  41. /H : Hide main WinImage window
  42. /NX : Never exit after command line operation
  43. /Nxxx (where xxx is DMF1024, DMF2048, 144, 120...) : Create a new image
  44. /Txxx (where xxx is DMF1024, DMF2048, 144, 120...) : Transform image size
