  1. SITUATION: Enemy forces have established an outpost from which to launch reconnaissance patrols and 
  2. conduct ambushes against friendly indigenous forces operating in AO BULLDOG.  Reconnaissance of the outpost 
  3. must be conducted to determine the best method of eliminating the hostile force operating there.

  5. ROE:  Rules of Engagement published 14MAR04 are in effect.
  6.  
  7. MISSION: ODA 214 reconnoiters Objective HURRICANE, vicinity AH303020 commencing 06 0800Z May 04 to 
  8. determine enemy composition, disposition and strength in order to prepare for follow-on offensive 
  9. operations.
  10.  
  11. ENEMY: Squad-sized element of enemy soldiers supported by foreign advisors.  Enemy elements are 
  12. believed to include two armored personnel carriers.
  13.  
  14. TROOPS: Split Team ôAlphaö 574 and Resistance Fire Team.
  15.  
  16. Terrain:  Rolling dunes and hills with hot temperatures.  Take proper warm weather precautions.
