Transcription: Sea turtles spend most of their lives in the water. Male sea turtles seldom return to land after hatching, but females return periodically to lay eggs. Few sea turtles survive to become adults. High tides or predators destroy their nests. Most of the young turtles that hatch are soon eaten by predators or get stuck and die.
