  12.     We thank you for purchasing Ami-Back Tools, the premier set of
  13. disk utilities for the Commodore Amiga personal computer.  We are
  14. sure that Ami-Back Tools will become an indespensible part of your
  15. system software.  All of us have worked very hard to make Ami-Back
  16. Tools the most full-featured and most reliable set of disk
  17. utilities available for the Amiga computer.  Let us know what you

  25.  - When deleting a configuration file, it will actually be removed
  26.    from the list until you press save.  The file will be marked as
  27.    *Deleted*.

  29. Ami-Back Tools

  31.  - WorkBench version 1.x does not support color fonts.
  32.    Ami-Back Tools does use these type fonts in the main screen
  33.    gadgets.  Therefore when using the program under WorkBench 1.x
  34.    the main gadget pictures will not be displayed in 3D as it
  35.    would be in 2.0+.

  37.  - When the 911-Recovery tool recovers files whose directories no
  38.    longer exist, it will create a directory called "Orphaned_Files"
  39.    to which it will backup these files.  (Reviver will simply put
  40.    undeleted files whose directories no longer exist in the root
  41.    directory of the current device.)

  43.  - Be sure to run the Analyst on the current device before running
  44.    the General Practitioner to optimize it.  If there are errors in
  45.    the disk structure when an optimization is performed, the G.P.
  46.    will inform you of the error and subsequently abort.  Running
  47.    the Analyst on the device first will ensure the device to be
  48.    free of errors (it is not required to run the Analyst on a
  49.    device if you know the device to be error-free).

  51.  - The optimzer has been changed so that you don't have to do a "Check Device"
  52.    before doing an "Optimize".  The Optimize gadget will do a "Check Deivice"
  53.    before optimizing if necessary.

  55.  - The "User Defined" setting in palette prefs has been removed because
  56.    it was unnecessary and didn't work correctly.

  61.  - If at any time a Memory Error or Error occurs
  62.    that will not allow a requestor to be displayed, the error
  63.    will be saved to the program's log file.

  65.  - You may run the program from the floppy under any operating system
  66.    once you have booted with a WorkBench disk.

  69. Arexx Port

  71.  - Due to time restraints we were unable to complete the Arexx
  72.    port for Ami-Back Tools.  We decided to complete this in a
  73.    later version.  We expect to have this compeleted April of 1993.
  74.    This upgarde will be FREE.  You can either send your original
  75.    disk in with your registration card or download the patch file
  76.    off our support bbs.  We apologize if this causes any
  77.    inconvenience.
