  15.      FUNCTION
  16.       The basename of a pathname is    its last component. For
  17.       example, the basename    of DF1:FOOBAR is FOOBAR, but the
  18.       basename of DF1:Foobar/Doobar/Shobar is Shobar.  This
  19.       function returns a pointer to    the start of the basename
  20.       given    a valid    AmigaDOS path.

  23.       PathName - Pointer to    a valid    pathname.

  25.      RESULT
  26.       basename - Pointer to    start of basename.  Note that the
  27.           basename ptr may point to the    start of PathName.
