  4. This is the second edition of the KNOWN MODEM INIT STRINGS FOR DOOM (KNISFD).
  5. I am proud to say that it has increased in size.  However, I cannot promise
  6. it has increased in accuracy.  It seems that some modems and connections 
  7. vary differently even between the same modem!  So, if you see a string on
  8. here that you can't get to work, it doesn't mean it doesn't work....

  25. I do not know if these settings work...  I am just trying to be nice,
  26. so don't flame me if your modem still doesn't work.

  220. DOOM.  Then, put the following initialization string in the MODEM.CFG.

  297. had to add &K0 to the modem init string for the ZOOM modem.  Otherwise, your
