  7. 1. What is the purpose of the Doom Modem League [DML]?
  8.  
  9. The DML is a service which will help you find a person to play Modem Doom
  10. with who is a local call.  Basically, I have a list of all the members
  11. with their e-mail address, area code and city.  About once a month, a list
  12. will be released with all of the information of DML members.  You will
  13. be able to look for a member that is located close to you, and set up a
  14. game of DOOM with this person.  If you can not afford to make long
  15. distance calls, or just have no one to play Modem Doom with, the DML is
  16. for you.

  18. 2. How do I join the DML?
  19.  
  20. Joining the DML is simple.  Just e-mail me an application.  An
  21. applicaiton includes:
  22. a) e-mail address
  23. b) city
  24. c) area code
  25.  
  26. 3. What is in the future of the DML?
  27.  
  28. The DML plans to hold a DOOM tournament sometime in the near future, with
  29. players from all across the USA competing.  Look for more details in the
  30. coming months.

  32. 4. What will I need to play Modem Doom?
  33.  
  34. Three things will be needed to play Modem Doom.
  35. a) The game DOOM
  36. b) a 386 or greater
  37. c) a 9600 baud or higher modem
  38.  
  39. If you are reading this message, you obviously have a and b.  If you do
  40. not yet own a 9600+ modem, go out and buy one.  2400 and 1200 are almost
  41. obsolete, with 14.4 being standard.  AND without one, Modem Doom is not
  42. possible.
