  1. This is a ks3.1 68k port of Hivelytracker v1.2
  2.  
  3. There are two builds of the main program included. One for 68020+
  4. and one for 68020+ with fpu.
  5.  
  6. Recommended configuration for running hivelytracker on 68k
  7.  
  8.   * Fast CPU (68060 or emulated)
  9.   * Cybergraphx compatible graphics card.
  10.   * Some free ram.
  11.   * AHI (V6 on aminet. However I use the older V4 - http://www.lysator.liu.se/ahi/v4-site/)
  12.   * guigfx.library and render.library
  13.  
  14. This release differs from the OS4 version in the following ways:

  16.   * Includes screenmode requester. To choose another mode use the window/fullscreen
  17.     cycle gadget.
  18.  
  19.   * Includes configurable mixing frequency
  20.  
  21.   * Ability to switch off vumeters/wavemeter
  22.  
  23.   * Lacks the about window (sorry).
  24.  
  25.   * Additional Skin font size options (Font size restrictions still in place)

  27.   * Uses NewMouse for mousewheel support

  29. Installation:
  30.  
  31. copy the render.library and guigfx.library from libs/ to libs: if needed
  32. install the fonts
  33. run the version applicable to your system
  34.  
  35. At first start the program will ask you to select a screenmode. It tries to choose the best
  36. mode for the program. Note: No matter what resolution you choose, hively tracker is hard coded
  37. for 800x600, so if you open a small screen, then it will be in autoscroll mode. For graphics card
  38. users I recommend you use an 800x600 resolution in 8 bit. For AGA users, choose 640x512 or similar,
  39. but please make sure you choose a low colour depth. Otherwise you will run out of memory, and
  40. something nasty might happen. I've run the program successfully on AGA in 2 bitplanes.
