  134.  to continue the use of the trademark. If you are a moderator for a
  135.  Terminate conference and do not have the permission, please send

  141.  ^hThe story about the Terminate trademark^n
  142.  
  143.  The Terminate trademark was an idea of Bo Bendtsen when he was beginning
  144.  to plan his terminal program. He had programmed a little nameless terminal
  145.  and was looking for a good name. It would have to be related to modems,
  146.  terminal software or something similar. One day while he was expanding the
  147.  network of his BBS system, Bo picked up a network terminator
  148.  (50 ohms ethernet), looked at it and pondered:
  149.  
  150.  'Network terminator. No... YES... that's it: Terminate.'
  151.
