- To create a diskette from the DSK file:
-
- - Insert a blank diskette into the A: drive
-
- - At a DOS prompt type "LOADDSKF <filename>.DSK A:" and press Enter
- (note that <filename> should be the name of the file that contains the
- original disk image.)
-
- - Follow the instructions on the screen
-
- Example: If the disk image file you received is "R700C111.DSK" then you would
- type the following at a DOS prompt:
-
- LOADDSKF R700C111.DSK A:
-
- and then press Enter.
-
- If you receive a message stating that an incorrect disk format was detected, it
- means that the original disk image was on a different density disk than the one
- you inserted in the A: drive. For example, if you inserted a high density
- (1.44M) disk in the A: drive and the disk image was created from a 720K disk
- you would get the following error message:
-
-
- Target disk is wrong format
-
- Expecting 2 side(s) - 80 tracks - 9 sectors per track
-
-
- To correct the problem simply replace the disk in drive A: with the correct
- density disk and re-enter the LOADDSK command at the DOS prompt.
