- PA36 MIDI Analyser version 1.0
-
-
- This is NOT a public domain program as such - it is a development version
- of a piece of software that's being written for my own use. You've got it
- on a strict WYSIWYG ( what-you-see-is-what-you-get ) basis but... if you
- find that it is not behaving as it should with certain types of equipment
- then PLEASE let me know and I'll try to fix it.
-
-
- First some instructions........ Ideally you should have the MIDI equipment
- plugged into the MIDI interface before double clicking on the MidiAnalyser
- icon. The reason for this is that if data is being sent as you plug a
- piece of equipment in, there is a good chance that the first few bytes
- received will not form a 'valid MIDI message'. The same applies to the
- last few bytes received when you disconnect the MIDI source !
-
-
- During the time that the program is running the MIDI messages will be
- analysed and the message types displayed. The display is cumulative,
- so at any given time the 'red box' indicators show which MIDI message
- types have been received so far.
-
-
- WARNING....... you may from time to time be told that the analyser program
- detected a read error. The most likely cause is that you are trying to
- analyse high density MIDI data ( SYSEX dumps or multi-track sequencer
- information ). The program analyses MIDI data in real time and because
- of this there is a limit to how much high density stuff it can handle.
- The solution ? Avoid pumping in too much data !

- ColourBench version 1.0
-
- This is just a hack to brighten up the WorkBench and works by adding a
- user copper list to the WorkBench screen... feel free to copy and use.
