  1. This program is what I expect to be the best backup utility available for
  2. the Amiga. Features are :
  3.  
  4.     - Backup to floppies or to an archive file.
  5.  
  6.     - Full or partial backup and restore.
  7.       File selection by name, date, and protection bits. You can save
  8.       your favorite selections, and recall them later.
  9.  
  10.     - Cyclic backup to and restore from several drives.
  11.  
  12.     - Optionnal data compression
  13.       An internal algorithm is provided, but you can use any external
  14.       program. The XPK library is also supported.
  15.  
  16.     - Function to rebuild catalog
  17.       Allow to restore files from a damaged archive file, or if some
  18.       disks are missing.
  19.  
  20.     - Error recovering function.
  21.       If an error occurs while writing to the 17th disk, you won't have
  22.       to restart from the first one.
  23.  
  24.     - Under 2.0 system release, High Density disks (1.76 Mb) and links
  25.       (hard and soft) are supported.
  26.  
  27.     - Full Intuition interface, as well as "batch" mode for CLI lovers
  28.       and automatic backups.
  29.  
  30.     - Multitask program.
  31.       A child task is created, and performs all write operations to
  32.       floppies. This makes ABackup about 10 to 20% faster.

  34.     - View operation during file selection
  35.       The names of the viewer programs are configurable. The file is
  36.       extracted from the archive if needed.
