  8. Heddley is an editor to help you create AmigaGuide files. Heddley was
  9. started because there were no decent programs for creating AmigaGuide
  10. databases; since then some have emerged, but Heddley provides a more
  11. integrated, complete and compact interface than the competition. You
  12. can create buttons and text styles using a simple mouse-dragging
  13. method, at the same time as retaining a useful overview of the whole
  14. document.

  16. In fact, with HTML and ASCII/ANSI export features, Heddley should be
  17. able to supply all your documentation needs; just create your
  18. database with Heddley and have the ability to place it on-line in
  19. HTML or print it out with ASCII; retaining style information in both
  20. cases.

  22. Perhaps the best thing about this new version is the amount of bug
  23. fixes that have been implemented since the first version, in
  24. particular the drastic reduction in Enforcer hits (and hopefully
  25. removal, but hey, who can guarantee that? ;-)
