  1. About JoinSpliter v1.13 by Deniil 715! for OnyxSoft

  6. JoinSpliter is a program that you can use to split
  7. and join files with using a graphical user interface!
  8. It was made in 27/11 1998!

  11. Features
  12. ~~~~~~~~
  13. Two very special features of this program is that
  14. it doesn't make headers and the files doesn't need
  15. to have filenames like f.ex. splfile.001, splfile.002,
  16. splfile.003 etc.
  17. But be aware of that it do makes files like that but
  18. doesn't require it for joining!
  19.  
  20. When you are joining files you only have to pick them
  21. into a lister and press "Join"!
  22. You only have to pick one file if you got a serie of files
  23. and the program will find the rest of them!
  24. The files will be joined from the top of the lister and down.
  25.  
  26. Some feature when spliting: You can select if you want a
  27. fixed size of the splited files. If you want to optimize the
  28. use of every diskette or whatever you use. In this case the
  29. splitfiles will be in different size depending on how much
  30. space remains left on each disc. Press cancel when a disc is
  31. full and select/insert a new disk.
  32. The last split-method enables you to specify how many files you
  33. want the mainfile to be splited in.

  38. ·The numberserie-recognition has been improved so it doesn't
  39.  just take the first number but the longest (in chars) it finds!

  41. ·The dos-requesters has now been suppressed so you wouldn't have
  42.  to press Cancel when a new disk is to be inserted when using
  43.  Disc-optimizing!

  45. ·Now you now can "shift-select" files to be joined!

  50. When you start JoinSpliter you can one of theese two arguments
  51. 'split' or 'join' to make it go directly to the corresponding
  52. window without the annoying requester!

  55. Compatibility:

  57. This program is compatible with all spliters/joiners
  58. that's not packing or crypt data or sets a tail on some/every file!

  61. The standard AmigaDOS Join.
  62. Spliter by DarkSpirit/BOD.
  63. A friends spliter for PC (urk)
  64. and probably many others that I don't know the name of..
