- REQUIREMENTS
- Any Amiga® (compatible) computer with at least OS2.04.
-
-
- DESCRIPTION
- AddBuffers V38 replaces the original AmigaDOS AddBuffers
- V37 command from Commodore. This version supports pattern-
- matching, so that you can add extra buffers to several
- devices by just one call. If a device is not present, no
- requester will come up (in opposite to the original one).
-
-
- INSTALLATION AND START
- To install it, simply copy AddBuffers to your C: directory.
- Since it is cli command, you can only start it from a shell
- process. The following options are provided:
-
- DRIVE: the name(s) of the device(s) to add extra buffers to.
- BUFFERS: number of buffers to add. Negative values will reduce
- the current amount of buffers. If you don't specify
- this option, the current buffer count is shown instead.
- QUIET: no output (as AddBuffers >NIL:)
-
- Examples:
-
- AddBuffers df?: 20
- Adds 20 buffers to all dfx: drives (df0:, df1:, ...)
-
- AddBuffers (dh0:|df?:)
- Shows the current buffer count of dh0:, df0:, dfx:, ...
-
- AddBuffers #?
- Shows the current buffer count of all device currently mounted.
-
