- Atlantic HQ have lost contact with their top secret underwater base,
- Aquasphere 1. The last transmissions from the base were unclear but
- it is being officially reported to personal that unknown terrorist forces
- have invaded the complex.. As pilot of `THE SHARK`, the latest hi tech
- armed submersible, you have been brought in to investigate.

- Setting off for Aquasphere, you have your own suspicions about what
- has happened at the base.. During its construction, a huge area of the
- sea bed was destroyed, including the area known as "The quadrant", a
- weird and totally unnatural rock formation several hundred meters wide.
- Rumour has it that several attempts were made to map and investigate the
- area, each met with disappearance of the crew and vessel involved..

- --== `THE SHARK` ==--
- ----------------------

- Your ship is armed with a standard pulse lazer which can be powered up
- three times. You are also supplied with the capability to release "Power-
- weapons".. These will destroy obstructions and weak spots in the base and
- its structure, but should be used sparingly as ammunition is in short
- supply. There are 4 types of Power-Weapon (see below).Stocks of ammo and
- other useful items can be found in barrels dotted around the base - the
- contents are identifiable by the icon released when you destroy them:

- Ammo supplies:
- --------------
- `M` = Missiles - Diverging rockets.
- `B` = Blasters - Plasma bolt - rips through anything destroyable.
- `R` = Rebounders - 4 Projectiles that richochete of walls.
- `D` = Depth Charges - Float, then sink and explode on contact.

- Other Supplies:
- ---------------
- `P` = Power up main pulse lazer.
- `E` = Replenish energy.
- `S` = Activate Scanner (Shows map of zone and any notable features).

- Controls:
- =========

- Game played with joystick in usual port with normal directional control.
- Tap fire to release a round from the pulse lazer. Hold fire to charge the
- power-weapon selected in the status panel, release button to dispatch
- weapon.

- The keyboard controls are:
-
- F1 - Select Missiles.
- F2 - Select Blaster.
- F3 - Select Rebounders.
- F4 - Select Depth Charges.

- P - Pause game.
- ESC - Quit game (only in pause mode).
