  13. Welcome to MPack v1.2.1!

  15.      This is an enhanced version based on Mike Meyers Amiga port of the
  16. awesome mpack utilities. Please take note that this is no official release!
  17. However, the release date of 1.3 seems to be delayed and I decided to make
  18. this version available for the public.
  19.  
  20.      Many people complained about strange Message-Ids, wrong paths and
  21. similar problems with the earlier versions. This was a result of missing
  22. config file support. MPack tried to determine all required information
  23. (like NodeName, Domain and TimeZone) from ENV variables.
  24.  
  25.      My version uses all available information like local DOS variables,
  26. ENV variables and the UULib:Config file, in order of precedence. All you
  27. need is an installed netsupport.library. (For NSP.Library users: MPack does
  28. not log anything, so there is no need to change your NSPConfig file!)

  30.      Please don't overvalue my work--all the real work was done by Mike
  31. Meyer this is just a small modified version. Nevertheless I hope you find
  32. these utilities useful!
