- Paging and text Commands in detail:

- Display
- T,v : restart the current article (v= verbose header). Turns rot13 mode off.
- ^H,
- BACKSPC : back to previous page(s).
- B : go to text bottom.
- ^L : redisplay this page.
- O : turn Clear-Screen-Mode on/off, turn Header-Stop-Mode on/off.
- x : display this page in rot(13) mode (toggles) and turn rot-mode on.
- D number: enter new rot-number (default 13).
- SPACE : display next page, like 'n' at the end of the article.
- ENTER : display next line only.
- ^T : Show ScreenTitle. This key toggles (show/hide).

- Searching
- g pat : search in this article for given pattern (substring).
- G : continue search for pattern.

- Selection Commands in pager:
- N,n : read next selected article.
- p,P : read previous selected article.
- number : goto article. (Then return to selection thread).
- k : marks current subject as read and deselects it, then 'n'.

- /pat~mod: searches for pat in article(s) ("Subject:"-line).
- mod: c-case dependent, a-search in whole article, h-search in header,
- r-search in read articles, too. (REGEXP)
- ?pat~mod: to search in the other direction.

- r,R : reply. Invokes editor and produces a reply ('R' for quoting text)
- f,F : Invokes editor and produces a follow-up ('F' for quoting orig. text)
- M : Special menu for forwarding (via e-mail) and special quoting.
- E : enter a new message (post new article).
- c : Cancel this article, if yours.

- Saving or printing articles
- s name : appends article(s) to a file (name if given, else SAVENEWS:groupname)
- To print an article use: s prt:
- S cmd : saves article(s) to standard-input of cmd and opens a SHELLWINDOW.
- s |cmd : same as S cmd, but doesn't open a shell-window, uses NULL: instead.
- w,W : like s,S but without header.
- | : synonym for "S |cmd" or "S cmd".
- ow,os : save selected articles in thread order.

- Marking articles
- u : don't mark this article as read.
- j : junk this article (mark it as read) and do 'n'.
- J : junk this article and stay at this article.
- C : Catch up. Mark all articles as read! Goto next group.

- K : Add subject or author to your local/global X-file or edit it.
- This key calls a menu.
- d : Add subject to your local X-file.
