  7.     this is a pre-release of  AssemblerGetty.  "Pre-released"  means,  that
  8. this version does not include all planned  features,  but  has  been  under
  9. exhaustive testing. More than 12 betatesters used AGetty for several  weeks
  10. and none of them reported any serious problems.

  12.     But why do I release this version if it isn't 100% finished? I can tell
  13. 'ya: Because I want your opinion about AGetty! I want  your  ideas  what  I
  14. should change/add in the next version. Additionally I'd like to have AGetty
  15. tested on all kind of amigas, with all kind of modems and  I  want  you  to
  16. report  any  problem  you  have  with  AGetty,  in  order  to  make  AGetty
  17. rock-solid.

  19.     If you decide to install AGetty, you  should  first  of  all  read  the
  20. manual. (Please do me the favor, I've invested this much time to author it!
  21. :->) Everything AGetty is capable or not capable of,  is  described  there.
  22. The features missing in this version are explained in the "Future  Version"
  23. paragraph. ATTENTION: Matt Dillon's Getty and  my  AssemblerGetty  are  not
  24. 100% compatible, so be shure to check  out  the  manual  for  configuration
  25. purposes.

  27.     I'll support the program in the ADSP-newsgroups, in  alt.sys.amiga.uucp
  28. and in de.comp.sys.amiga.uucp and I'll also announce new versions in  these
  29. newsgroups. If you have no access to one of these forums or feel that  your
  30. problem isn't of general interest, do not hesitate to contact me.

  32.     One last word: This archive doesn't contain any  catalogs  yet,  though
  33. stated in the manual.
