- Which(V1.3) ARP User's Manual Which(V1.3)
-
-
-
- NAME
- Which - display pathname of command.
-
- SYNOPSIS
- Which File/a NOTRES/s RES/s BCPL/s QUIET/s
-
- DESCRIPTION
- Which searchs the command path (including the resident list)
- for the file you specify. This command is useful in
- determining exactly Which command you are executing. By
- default, Which searches the ARP Resident list, then the BCPL
- resident list, then the command path.
-
- OPTIONS
- NOTRES
- Don't search the resident list.
-
- RES Search only the resident list.
-
- BCPL Search only the BCPL resident list.
-
- QUIET
- This flag will disable the requestors which like to pop
- up when searching for things on disks that aren't in
- the drive. Note that you won't find the command you
- are looking for if you use this flag, and the command
- is on an unmounted disk.
-
- NOTE
- In V1.3.0 of ARP, the RES and NOTRES switches are
- reversed in meaning, thus specifying RES will only search
- for commands that are NOT resident, and specifying NOTRES
- will only search for commands which ARE resident. Oops...
