- ChangeTaskPri(V1.3) (ARP User's Manual) ChangeTaskPri(V1.3)
-
-
-
- NAME
- ChangeTaskPri - Change a tasks execution priority.
-
- SYNOPSIS
- ChangeTaskPri P=Pri,T=TASK=PROCESS/k
-
- DESCRIPTION
- By increasing/decreasing the priority of various tasks in
- the system, you can increase/decrease the amount of CPU time
- each task is allocated. The ARP version of this command
- checks the value of your priority, and also allows you to
- change task priorities of currently running tasks. This
- should be performed with care. If no task number is
- entered, this command uses the currently executing task.
-
- If executed with no arguments, ChangeTaskPri will return the
- priority of the currently executing process. This is useful
- in shell scripts.
-
- EXAMPLE
- ChangeTaskPri -5 Process 3 ; Change task 3's priority to
- ; -5.
- ChangeTaskPri 5 ; Change current CLI's priority
