  1. DoomVB: Edit DOOM "thing" data using the power of the Windows Drag and
  2. Drop interface!

  4. Installation instructions:  Put all .VBX files in your
  5. \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  Put all other files in your \DOOM
  6. directory.  Make sure you have VBRUNN300.DLL (available on every BBS
  7. on the planet) in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  9. Disclaimer: This software falls under the "Permitted Derivative
  10. Works" category for Doom Add-on Products.  Therefore, it is not for
  11. sale.  Don't send any money to me or id Software (yeah, right).

  13. Support Disclaimer: Don't call id Software for support.  Furthermore,
  14. don't call me for support.  If it works for you like it does for me,
  15. then you've just picked up one hell of a free Doom editor.  If it
  16. doesn't work or nukes your .WAD file, just reload your backup .WAD
  17. file and try again.  If you don't have a backup .WAD file, well, what
  18. am I supposed to do about it, anyway?  I just wrote the thing.

  21. I'm really a nice guy!)  If you DO have any suggestions for
  22. improvements, let me know via either PCOHIO or the Software Creations

  24. hope): adding and deleting objects, moving walls, changing wall
  25. graphics, etc.  In short, I plan on writing a fully blown editor, as
  26. soon as someone figures out these damn specs!

  31. Red: Monster
  32. Dark Gray: Player Start Positions
  33. Cyan: Weapons/Ammo
  34. Light Gray: "Scenery" (torches, pools of blood, bodies, etc.)
  35. Green: Barrels
  36. Magenta: Goodies (RadSuits, Armor, Light Goggles, etc.)
  37. Dark Yellow: KeyCards and Skull Keys
