  26. Space Race Is a freeware game Made by Claus Jensen (me). It's the result of
  27. only one day of hard work. You can freely copy it to all your friends cause
  28. it's freeware, but just dont remove the copyright. It is not allowed to remo-
  29. ve or change any of the included files.

  40. The Game runs in Dos but will also run in windows 95 i haven't tested it in
  41. os/2 yet but im sure it runs fine from an os/2 dos prompt.

  50. It runs on a 486SLC 50 Mhz with 4MB Ram but very slow, Im working on a thing
  51. i call a "Center Machine Speed Generator Thingie and stuff" so if you run the
  52. game on a slow computer you can center the machinespeed it will make the
  53. delays and other stuff shorter so it fits the computer.

  62. TroubleShooting

  64. If the game won't run in windows 95 then restart the computer and when it says
  65. starting Windows 95 then press F8 and select Dos Mode.

  67. Make Sure you have the line FILES=40 Or maybe Less in your CONFIG.SYS.

  69. If you get a run-time error then make sure you used the pkunzip -d function,
  70. or if your using Winzip then remember to enable "Use Folder Names"

  72. sometimes when you fly outside the screen, usually when you do it fast, it
  73. just hangs. Thats my fault, im working on that. sorry about that mistake it
  74. should be fixed soon. (o:

  88. Run the "lander.exe" file. And the will game start.

  90. Press the "up cursor" to speed up the ship/throttle something.
  91. and by pressing the "left" and "right" cursor the shuttle moves from side to
  92. side.

  94. the object of the game is to land on a flat place with low speed. Landing
  95. too hard will wreck the shuttle. The landscape is randomly generated but
  96. there will always be a flat place that's min. 21 pixels long.

  109. Well it is the full version. but you can allways download new things for the
  110. game, like plugins for new shuttles, missions etc. Im making an update so
  111. that it's not just a lander game but also some small other games. A 2 player
  112. mode will be ready soon and also a play versus the computer mode.
