  88.     Entombed requires Windows 3.1 or better, a mouse, a 386 CPU or better,
  89.     2 megabytes of system ram, a 512k SVGA display card and driver that
  90.     supports the 640 x 480 25 color SVGA mode, Dos 5.0 or better and 3 Mb
  91.     of free hard disk space.

  94. Entombed Error Messages:

  96.   Error (1) - 256 color display mode not detected (message box)
  97.  
  98.     This error appears if the game doesn't detect a 256 color video display
  99.     driver.

  101.     [Windows 95 users]
  102.     Open the Control Panel, open Display, click Settings, set the Color 
  103.     Palette to 256 colors and click Ok. If your video driver does not 
  104.     support 256 colours you can try an alternative driver be selecting 
  105.     Change Display Type and Change Adaptor Type. The Standard display type
  106.     "Super VGA driver" will work with most video hardware. Make sure you 
  107.     change the palette to 256 colors before starting Entombed.

  110.     To install the driver, double click on the Windows Setup icon,
  111.     select change System Settings from the options menu then choose the 
  112.     correct 256 color video driver for your hardware. Suitable video drivers
  113.     can be obtained from most reputable hardware vendors. Windows 3.11 for 
  114.     Workgroups users can install Microsoft's SVGA 640x480 256 color driver.  
  115.     Consult your Microsoft Windows manual or phone your dealer for more 
  116.     details.

  119.   Entombed extended setup - required files missing (dialogue box)

  121.     This error will be reported if files required by Entombed are missing
  122.     or if you have renamed the Entombed directory. Either enter the name
  123.     of the new entombed directory, or if you suspect that a file is missing,
  124.     re-install Entombed.

  129.     In the event that your sound driver fails, you will need to reload
  130.     your midi driver. Do this by running the "drivers" utility within
  131.     the windows control panel. Click on "add" and select your existing
  132.     sound driver from the list. Click on "current" and then select
  133.     "restart windows". This will reset your midi driver.  The registered
  134.     version of Entombed does NOT have any midi requirements, all audio
  135.     is digital.
