  8. This package enables you to play an adventure game in Windows.  Re-live 
  9. the days of the early computer games based on yards of text; however, the 
  10. Windows GUI makes the game much more user friendly. You must navigate 
  11. your way through a world, solving puzzles, finding useful objects, 
  12. meeting friendly and unfriendly people, with the aim of reaching the 
  13. ultimate destination alive.

  15. The shareware version includes a Training Game and a full size adventure 
  16. - The Gates of Macrohard:  save the 22nd Century world of the 3.11th 
  17. Dimension from domination by the double centenarian Old Bill and his JCN 
  18. Macrohard company.  Also includes a limited authoring facility.

  20. Three different registered versions are available depending on whether 
  21. you are a player, an author or a distributor:

  23. RUN-TIME: The registered run-time version comes with all the normal 
  24. benefits of registration (ie documentation, support etc) plus TWO 
  25. additional games to play, Quest for the Moon Gem AND The Magic of 
  26. Camelot.  A wider range of sounds are employed in these games than used 
  27. in the shareware game.

  29. AUTHOR: Full authoring facilities to produce a game with up to 4750 
  30. locations, defining routes, descriptions, features, inaminate objects and 
  31. animated characters.  You can distribute the game files so created to 
  32. your friends.  Pepys will consider distributing games so created.

  34. DISTRIBUTOR:  Includes all the authoring facilities of ADVENTURE GAME 
  35. AUTHOR plus the capability to generate a personalised application, 
  36. creating a fully distributable package with the run-time application, all
