- Heres a chance to rediscover those simple pleasures of
- childhood. Build card castles or houses even if you have
- little manual dexterity or live in an earthquake zone !
- All you need is this card house construction kit, a fast Amiga
- and nothing better to do.
- The kit comes with the basic component (a card).
- Actually it comes with several cards, but you can re-jig them
- to make more or design your own, Tarot maybe ?
- There are 320x512 bit maps in the pics drawer that you can
- modify (or shrink) to make new faces.
- Use DPaint to edit the pics, but watch out that it doesn't try
- to save a 640x512 image when you only want 320x512, otherwise
- the pictures will end up compressed sideways, as Imagine
- converts the bit map to fit the card object. (If you're short
- of ram make the bit maps smaller with AdPro or similar, Imagine
- makes the files 24 bit, so you can run out of memory pretty
- quickly !)
- If you don't like the obverse, design your own, I stuck the
- axes on back to front so your image will need to be flipped.
- To put a new bit map in place load the card object in the
- 'Detail' editor and alter the pointer to the bit map using the
- attributes requester. You can change the front or the back of
- the card very simply, so change what you fancy.
- The current stage setting is very basic, just add more cards to
- build bigger houses !
- Enjoy !!
