About Internet Timer
Internet Timer provides a constant readout, in the taskbar, of how long you spend logged on to the internet. The program also keeps track of the total cost of phone charges and time, spent on the internet, recording this in a data log.
Notes for Use of Net Timer
1. When you first run Net Timer enter, if necessary, the required phone rates for business, evening or weekend along with the minimum call charge (if applicable). The default rates are for BT charges as of November 1997.
BT Time Periods for local, regional and national calls are as follows:
Business (Daytime rate) - Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
Evening (Night-time rate) - Monday to Friday before 8am and after 6pm
Weekend rates - Midnight Friday to midnight Sunday
2. Before starting Net Timer ensure a rate is selected in the charges box.
3. Using the options feature the rate of charges can be modified. In addition you can select the time delay between alerts being displayed or sounded.
4. Using the Timer Log the dates and duration of calls can be viewed. Totals are given of log-on time and total cost of calls to date. Entries can be individually deleted as required.
