- Document windows are where documents are displayed. Multiple document
- windows can be open at the same time. You can interact with each
- document window independently. For example, you can read a document in
- one window while loading files in other windows.

- <LI>The <B>title bar</B> displays the title, if any, of the current
- document.

- <LI>The <B>menu bar</B> offers access to all of the Mosaic <A
- HREF="commands.htm#TOP">commands</A>.

- <A NAME="TOOLBAR"><LI>The <B>toolbar</B></A> provides quick access to
- frequently used functions. To hide the toolbar, choose Preferences
- from the Edit menu. Choose the Miscellaneous panel, if necessary. Then
- unselect the Show Toolbar check box.

- <LI>Use the <B>Back</B> and <B>Forward</B> buttons to move between
- documents that you have viewed.

- <LI>The <B>URL field</B> displays the <A HREF="url.htm">URL</A> of the
- current document. If you know the address of what you want to view,
- type it in the URL field and press Enter.

- <LI>The <B>status line</B> displays status information while a file is
- being loaded. As the mouse pointer is moved over a link, the status
- line will display the URL associated with the link. When the mouse
- pointer is moved over a toolbar button, the function of the button
- will be displayed in the status line.
