  28. Hello, and Welcome to LoadMon!
  29.  
  30. LoadMon is a prettified system monitor. It basically shows the load on your
  31. CPU and memory over time. I've tried to make this thing take up as little
  32. time as possible, but Windows is fairly slow at context-switching and any
  33. programs running in PeekMessage() mode degrade performance (IMHO). Still,
  34. I run LoadMon anyway because it can show you which apps are real pigs and
  35. which apps are well-written :-) :-) :-) (don't kill me, I'm only kidding!)
  36. Actually I'm not really sure how accurate LoadMon is. Have fun with it!

  39.   hyperoid - a neato game for Windows
  40.   ls - *nix ls command with MUCHO bells&whistles (couldn't live w/out it!)
  41.   blitfix - util that sets the CS_BYTEALIGNCLIENT bit on all top windows
  42.             (speeds up my 1024x768 display by a factor of 3)
  43.   eyecon - xeyes clone (may have to be renamed)
  44.   ilbm - Amiga IFF bitmap viewer (supports HAM mode and palettes!)
  45.   life - 7 blit life with a few bells&whistles
  46.   mbrot - mandelbrot hack that runs in the background
  47.   yow - Zippy the Pinhead in his very own icon, telling it like it is
  48.   (more games... stuff... junk...)
