  1. This drawer contains a collection of all "Native Developer Kits" distributed
  2. so far by Commodore-Amiga, Amiga Technologies, Amiga International and Amiga.
  3. The most recent kit is the NDK_3.5, which should be used for current software
  4. development.

  6. The AmigaOS 3.5 update is an incremental update. As such, the NDK 3.5
  7. concentrates mostly on features new or changed in AmigaOS 3.5. However, a
  8. significant amount of the time was spent to update and clarify existing
  9. documentation and to correct errors where necessary. Therefore, it is
  10. recommended to refer to both the NDK 3.5 and the NDK 3.1 for information and
  11. development tools. Where the documentation disagrees, the NDK 3.5 should be
  12. considered the definitive reference.

  14. Former NDK versions, such as the NDK_1.3 and NDK_2.0 are merely added for
  15. "historical" reasons and the sake of completeness. Since some of the material
  16. found there no longer represents `current' programming techniques and is made
  17. obsolete by newer information as found in the "3.5 Native Developer Kit" and
  18. the "ROM Kernel Reference Manuals", 3rd edition, care must be taken in using
  19. this material. Nevertheless, you may find information here which is not
  20. available anywhere else.
