  2.                               SOFTWARE LICENSE

  4. 1. This License Agreement ("License") permits you to use the software product
  5.    identified above ("Software") and to distribute it to others, provided that
  6.    the Software is redistributed in it's original unmodified form, complete
  7.    with all files, and no fee is charged for such distribution except for 
  8.    reasonable media and shipping charges.

  10. 2. The Software is owned by Catalyst Software, and is protected by United
  11.    States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you
  12.    must treat the Software like any other copyrighted material, except that
  13.    you may copy and redistribute the Software in accordance with this License.

  15. 3. You may not rent or lease the Software. You may not reverse engineer,
  16.    decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent such 
  17.    restriction is expressly prohibited by law. Except as described above,
  18.    you may not legally copy or distribute the Software (which includes the
  19.    documentation, object code and supporting programs), in whole or in part.
  20.    All rights not specifically granted are reserved by the copyright holder.

  22. 4. You have a royalty-free right to reproduce and distribute executable files
  23.    that incorporate the Software. This right includes the distribution of the
  24.    runtime module of the Software, provided that you: (a) distribute the
  25.    runtime module only in conjunction with and as part of your software
  26.    product; (b) include a valid copyright notice on your software product;
  27.    and (c) agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend the copyright holder
  28.    against any claims or lawsuits, including attorney's fees, that arise from
  29.    the use or distribution of your software product. The "runtime module"
  30.    refers to the custom control library required during execution of your 
  31.    software product.

  33.                                  WARRANTY

  35. The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, either
  36. expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties
  37. of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Should the Software
  38. prove defective, you assume the cost of all necessary servicing, repair or 
  39. correction. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so
  40. the above limitations may not apply to you.

  42. In no event, unless required by applicable law, will the copyright holder,
  43. or any other party who may redistribute the Software as permitted above, be
  44. liable to you for damages, including any general, special, incidental or
  45. consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
  46. This includes losses sustained by third parties, even if such holder or other
  47. party has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not
  48. allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
  49. the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
