  3. This demo system is a fully functional copy of VBVoice,
  4. with the exception that the voice card driver is not included, 
  5. the voice editor, Announce, has been crippled, and a smaller
  6. set of voice prompts are supplied.
  7. You can run the demo programs, and design and test your own in
  8. the simulation mode using a sound card.

  10. Sound Card Support

  12. VBVoice uses a sound card to play compressed voice files recorded
  13. at 6000Hz, which is a non-standard sampling rate. This may affect the 
  14. quality of the voice, or prevent it from playing, depending on the sound
  15. card you have. Most sound cards will accept this format. If yours does not,
  16. please let us know.
