  1. SPIM/SAL is a Mac port of SPIM, a MIPS R2000/3000 simulator written by James Larus of the University of Wisconsin Computer Sciences Departement.
  2. SPIM is a standard grad school teaching aid for assembly programming.
  3. It displays the registers of a MIPS computer as your code runs. Much better than UNIX SPIM.
