  1. Files in this directory are scanned images of 99er Magazine,
  2. which later became Home Computer Magazine, which later became
  3. Home Computing Journal.  To view and/or print these files you
  4. need to install the Paperport viewer available in
  5. the /pub/magazines directory.  To reduce file size some pages
  6. with color were scanned in black and white.  When the title 
  7. changed to Home Computer Magazine coverage was enlarged to include
  8. other computers.  Only those pages relating to the 99/4A have
  9. been scanned in these later issues.  Pages with only program
  10. listings have not been scanned because all the software from
  11. every issue is available in PC99 format in the pub/pc99.files
  12. directory. Cover dates, when available, are shown below. Beginning
  13. with the first issue of Home Computer Magazine the actual
  14. publication date was often many months after the cover date.
