  39. and that the four .1mf caps are not marked--you just have to find their pad 
  40. pairs.

  42. It is best to use a photo of a completed card to see where those 
  43. four are.

  45. Choose your memory chips separately, either 128K or 512K, I didn't 
  46. list those above.

  53. Voltage is just as important for the Capacitors as is their value and 
  54. type.  The C-1 -- "If" handling the input voltage (17 Volts) should 
  55. be 35 Volts.  The C-2 is working with 5 Volts, then a 10 Volt device 
  56. would work.  There are different types of capacitors.  And...  That 
  57. should be specifide in the parts list as well.  That would include 
  58. the .1mf filters.  Four, I think.  Or...  A part number would work as 
  59. well.

  74. Some thoughts;

  76. Caps should be 35 v rated and a few should be tantalum instead of  
  77. electrolytic (Especially if the LED circuit is added.).
  78. Machine sockets should be used instead of the cheaper "slide" type.
  79. To really make this card shine, memory chips should be the 55 nano second  
  80. speed (Also, either the simple P-Box interface card upgrade of replacing the  
  81. 74LS244 chips with 74HCT244 chips and installing new 35 v rated electrolytics or 
  82.  Thierry's P-Box wait state reduction mod will help performance).
  83. Someone should make up disks of all the Bruce Harrison software that was  
  84. written for this card for a demonstration that will dazzle even the most  
  85. hardened TIer so it can be included in the package.
